LIGHTSABERS!

Poor Princess – stuck in the middle of light saber fight. Your boys do come up with uncommon uses for common things 🙂
They also make really great extension sticks for poking your brother from across the room 🙂
Selena hasn't figured this out yet, but my older kids use to make swords out of them all the time.
Heehee…seems like we were always short on markers in our sunday school classes, because the boys had taken them all to make swords 🙂

Ha! I used to love to stack markers as a kid. I don't think my kids have figured it out yet though. I'll have to give them a few hints.
Poor Princess. Reagan is often the victim of boy play too.

My kids (including my dd) love to stack markers like that. I actually prefer that to when she uses them as body paint. 😉
Oh honey, everything gets turned into lightsabers around here. But never markers. That's a new one!
My daughter did the exact same thing this afternoon while we were working on her phonics….she's 5, do we consider this a milestone:)?
I quickly turned it into a beginning, middle, and ending sound example from her lesson before her brothers saw it:)
At my house the markers connected like that become swords, long distance grabbers, and dog pokers. And yes, little sisters do not like to participate at our house, either.
Lightsabers, and guns. Those are the only uses our markers have these days…Certainly no drawing going on.
Oh, no! I guess MY kids and YOUR kids have been contacting somehow. My kids do the same thing with their markers… and crayons… and colored pencils.
