Help, I need leprechaun ideas

So I want to give my kids some incentive as to why they want to try and capture the leprechauns in a few days.  So far our leprechauns haven’t done much, and I’m just drawing a blank right now beyond dying food.

Sigh, and I don’t even have a picture of the green pancakes like I thought I did.

So, HELP?  What can they do?

  1. I put green foot prints on the breakfast plates, add green food coloring to the toilet water, and put shamrock stamps on their hands while they sleep. I'm wondering what R will think of all of this now because she wanted no part of the tooth fairy coming into her room while she slept. I'm not sure she will be happy to have leprechauns leaving marks on her while she sleeps. I might have to skip that one this year!

  2. We have left shredded green paper all around the house… knocked over things that are normally upright…unrolled toilet paper a bit in each bathroom… turned things backwards.. like picture frames… sprinkled green sprinkles on the table… left chocolate coins… and tiny green footprints… with washable paint… naughty leprechauns! My daughters kindergarten and first grade teachers did these things at school… I didn't have the heart to 'squish' it… so I joined in… LOL!

or did you want craft ideas?? LOL!

    Just Jenn~

  4. We've painted our pebbles with gold glitter to make gold nuggets and painted our sand rainbow colors. We're still waiting for the colors to dry and then we'll post them up. She's going to dress up as a leprechaun who is hiding the gold under the rainbow (of sand). Then, we'll sift through the sand to find the gold. Not sure if this is what you're looking for but we're working on it today! And she just picked out green socks to go with her green outfit. Hat made out of green felt.
